About the Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the team at La Marzocco UK & Ireland, we are looking for a new La Marzocco Home Sales Administrator. While La Marzocco is known for its commercial espresso machines used in the best cafes all around the world, La Marzocco Home’s range of domestic espresso machines, grinders and accessories is growing and becoming an increasingly important part of the overall business. You will be supporting the sales administration of La Marzocco Home product range. We currently have two offices in the UK, our head office in London and local office in Leeds. This role will be based in London. The Home Sales Administrator role offers the opportunity to liaise with our customers and partners in the UK & Ireland and would suit someone driven who is highly organised.

The successful candidate has a pivotal role; works closely within our La Marzocco Home team, with our Logistics department, with our customers building stronger relationships and supporting them in the growing marketplace. You will be joining our growing energetic team and reporting to the LM Home Manager, you will work within the Home team to assist in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our customer supporting strategy. This role is busy and demanding, and so it is essential that you have attention to detail, excellent time management skills and can work under pressure.

You will have a proven track record as a Sales administrator or similar role. You will work collaboratively with all departments to capitalise on every opportunity to support existing and new customers, as well as end users. You will become part of a very close working team with sales, marketing, after sales and finance. In addition to make sure the sales process is smooth and promptly addressed in case of any issue arising, you will also demonstrate pro-activeness, excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. This position is available immediately, initially offered on a 6-month probation period.

Job Purpose, Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the Home team with day-to-day tasks to ensure they run the department profitably, allowing full focus on customers and growth.

  • Work closer with our logistics partner Espresso Solution on stock availability, orders, delivery enquiries, loan stock to customer, etc.

  • Create and maintain database, organize documents and share filing systems (MS OneDrive, Google) and contribute to general and ad-hoc administrative duties as directed by the LM Home manager.

  • Reporting and data retrieve and/or in collaboration with the other departments.

  • Assisting the Home Manager working towards both B2C and B2B sales targets.

  • Support Home team to ensure the showroom is always set up and ready for pop in visit from prospects and customers.

  • Assisting and following up with Loans machine

  • Working with the after-sales department and our network of approved technicians to ensure that all warranty claims and servicing issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

  • Supporting La Marzocco events including coffee festivals and roadshows throughout the year.

  • Supporting sales and promotion of our entire home product range.

  • Providing valuable feedback to management to make sure that our partners, and end-users, are satisfied with the product and overall service.

  • Innovate and present new ideas and approaches to sales admin.

  • Develop engaging and trustworthy inner and outer relationships for mutual success.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with a courteous and helpful approach. Overall, we are looking for someone who has/is:

  • Office-based, in London Shoreditch.

  • Be personable and a good communicator with great verbal and written communication skills to be representative of La Marzocco

  • Possess high level of organizational skills, proactive and time-oriented with a positive can-do attitude

  • Accuracy, great attention to details essential, with the ability to plan, multi-task, and prioritise workload

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, databases, project management tools and internet usage

  • Team-Oriented, Self-Motivated with Strong Leadership Skills and Goal-Oriented. Someone who can think innovatively

  • Proven experience as a sales administrator or similar role for at least 2 years

  • Schedule in-house and external meetings as directed, ensuring compliance with our office protocol.

  • Make travel arrangements for the Home team.

  • A passion for specialty coffee preferable but not necessary.
