The Role:
Based at our recently opened new flagship shop on Bellevue Road, Wandsworth. We are looking for a FOH Barista (Full and part time roles available), serving directly to customers who will become part of our core team. This core team will be the heart and engine that lays the foundation for our new flagship shop, so we are committed to making the right hire who to fit into our team. We will be flexible on hours and pay to reflect this.
Full Time 40 Hours per week
Part Time 25 Hours per week (Mon-Fri)
What You’ll Do:
• Craft with Purpose: Your role is to bring our values to life in every cup you make. With a minimum of two years of experience in specialty coffee and a deep understanding of ceremonial Matcha, you’ll create drinks that are not just beverages but experiences. Your craftsmanship will reflect our commitment to excellence.
• Connect with Customers: At Dilectio Coffee, we see each customer interaction as an opportunity to build trust and foster connection. You’ll engage with customers in a way that’s honest and authentic, ensuring they feel seen and appreciated. When you serve with sincerity, you create loyal customers who return not just for the product, but for the relationship.
• Enhance the Experience: We believe in offering more than what’s expected, but always in a way that feels natural and genuine. You’ll have the opportunity to introduce customers to new flavours, recommend complementary items, and enhance their overall experience, not just to increase sales, but because it’s the right thing to do.
Who You Are: • Experienced and Passionate: You’ve spent at least two years mastering the craft of specialty coffee, and you’re well-versed in the art of ceremonial Matcha. You take pride in your work and are constantly seeking ways to improve and refine your skills.
• Customer-Centric: You understand that great service is about making people feel valued. You’re not just interested in serving drinks; you’re committed to creating meaningful experiences for each customer.
