On a mission to continually shape and improve our dynamic and expanding business, we pride ourselves on the exceptional quality coffee we source, buy, import, roast, and dispatch internationally.

We’re looking for a Junior Production Roaster, with a strong focus on quality and a passion for their work, to join our close-knit team.

This permanent role will involve taking on various responsibilities from roasting coffee, cupping to ensuring we meet our day-to-day production and operations goals.

The role will include but not be limited to:

  • Roasting coffee
  • Weighing green coffee in preparation for roasting
  • Contribute to Quality Control - through cupping and other brew methods
  • Blending roasted coffee in preparation for packing
  • Packing roasted coffee
  • Record keeping and data entry
  • General roastery cleaning and maintenance of roasting equipment
  • Receiving green coffee deliveries

Requirements:

  • Ideally will have roastery production experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Adhere to strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and numeracy skills
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to excel
  • Ability to work through situations in a mature, logical and creative manner when necessary
  • A team player willing to seek advice where appropriate and contribute constructive suggestions.
  • Proof of the right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Full, manual UK driving licence
  • Counterbalance forklift licence
