We’re excited to offer the right candidate an opportunity to join our team as a Roastery Assistant & Barista Trainer, based in our North London roastery. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone with experience as a Head Barista or Barista Trainer within the specialty coffee industry who is looking to take the next step in their coffee career. As we continue to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the inner workings of a specialty roastery, including developing roasting skills under the guidance of our Head of Coffee.

You will also play a key role in delivering high-quality barista training to our wholesale partners at our roastery and on-site.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Production Roasting and quality control with support from our Head of Coffee.
  • Be able to lift heavy weights up to 35kg.
  • Managing the online D2C Shopify store and wholesale orders.
  • Inventory management and monthly/weekly stocktakes.
  • Packing of roasted coffee, managing deliveries and logistics.
  • Receiving green coffee and other deliveries.
  • Host and conduct barista training lessons for our wholesale partners both on-site and at the roastery.
  • Roastery daily cleaning and organising.
  • Assist our Head of Coffee with monthly roastery maintenance tasks.
  • Actively pursue further knowledge through industry publications, events & training.
  • Actively participate within the coffee community, and attend events on behalf of Fireheart.
  • Additional tasks when required as the business scales.

Specific requirements:

  • Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK driver’s licence.
