Sacred Grounds, located in the heart of Soho, is looking for an experienced Head Barista to join and lead our dedicated team. We’re a coffeehouse rooted in community, inclusivity, and high standards, and we’re looking for someone who can embody those values in everything they do.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and maintain our high-end coffee equipment, including a La Marzocco KB90 machine and a Mahlkönig E80 Supreme grinder, ensuring consistent, top-quality speciality coffee.
- Lead, inspire, and support our team of baristas, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and passion for coffee.
- Oversee daily operations, including maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Work closely with management to develop and implement coffee-related initiatives, creating an unforgettable coffee experience that aligns with our brand.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and mentorship to team members, ensuring consistent skills development and product knowledge.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies, and keep a well-organised stock system.
- Ensure a warm, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff, upholding the unique culture of Sacred Grounds.

This role offers a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week. We’re open to flexible working arrangements, including four-day workweeks, to support individual lifestyles. Regular working hours are scheduled between 7:30am and 8:30pm, with occasional later shifts for events, and weekend availability is required.
