Barista - Part time (Soho)

Sacred Grounds, in the heart of Soho, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our team on a temporary basis until Christmas, with the possibility of extending the position by mutual agreement. Your Role:

As a Barista at Sacred Grounds, you’ll play a crucial role in creating exceptional coffee experiences. Working on our stunning La Marzocco KB90, you’ll need to be fast, efficient, and always ready to multitask while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities:

• Expertly prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages with precision and care.
• Provide warm and welcoming service, ensuring customers feel part of our community.
• Take orders, handle transactions, and share your knowledge of our menu.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Uphold Sacred Grounds’ high standards of quality and safety.
• Be prepared to work shifts ranging from 5.5 to 11 hours.

Requirements:

• Barista Experience: We’re specifically looking for candidates with a strong background in coffee, not just general hospitality.
• Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask seamlessly, and communicate effectively with the team and customers.
• Schedule: Must be available to work on Mondays and Thursdays, and flexible with shifts of varying lengths.
• Realistic Commute: Please check your journey to Sacred Grounds and ensure that you can reliably commute to our location, arriving on time.
