We serve a breakfast and lunch menu that changes weekly with a focus on seasonal and sustainable products. We serve Allpress Coffee as our main espresso blend and we guest international roasters for filter and retail coffee. We have a Linea PB with a Mahlkonig E65S and a Puq Press.
Role Overview: As a Barista, your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of café operations, including opening and closing procedures, coffee preparation of course, ensuring smooth front-of-house service, and most importantly, making sure our customers have the best time. This role is a weekend position (1- 2 days) with the possibility of additional weekday and event shifts from time to time.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the opening and closing of the café. Prepare high quality espresso-based drinks with Allpress Espresso and a seasonal rotation of single origin filter coffees. Maintain exceptional front-of-house service, ensuring customers feel welcomed and cared for. Uphold the café’s commitment to quality and consistency in both coffee and food. Collaborate with the team to create a sense of community and warmth within the café. Offer genuine recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

Experience: Minimum 1 years specialty coffee and front-of-house service experience. A good understanding of the fundamentals of coffee preparation including filter brewing Willingness to learn and contribute to the café’s success. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
