Moka is a buzzy independent espresso bar located opposite Chigwell station.
We are looking for an experienced supervisor / duty manager to join our small team. You will be assisted the Manager and Assistant Manager, main duties will include staff training, open, close and running shifts, cashing up, ordering, driving sales and the business forward. Working closely with the manager to ensure we are delivering top quality friendly service, excellent food and drinks in a clean, fun atmosphere.
Your duties would include, managing and training staff, organisation of store rooms, weekly manager meetings, health and safety checks, building a relationship with our customers and regulars, ordering, hitting weekly targets, managing daily wage costs, actively driving sales and helping move the business in the right direction with new offerings.
The ideal candidate will have a least 1 years experience managing in hospitality, be confident in producing high quality coffees at barista level, knowledge of coffee, have great organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, plus have the right personality to be the face of the bar when on shift. Latte art experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate as we do on-shift training.
