We are looking for a Chef who can lead a small team, is motivated and focused on seasonal and delicious food. This is a great opportunity to be part of a creative and passionate team!
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys food, coffee, and people
- Is willing to learn
- Has experience working in a kitchen environment
- Can work well in a small team and be supportive
Job Role will include but is not limited to:
- Being involved in creating the menu using seasonal, local produce
- Leading a small team
- Managing relationships with suppliers
- Ordering
- Managing prep lists
- Responsible for an organised prep kitchen and service kitchen
- Responsible for food safety, hygiene and health and safety regulations
- Ensure the kitchen team are adhering to food safety, hygiene and health and safety regulations and are up to date
with their professional certification
Requirements:
- Passionate about food and hospitality
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-directed workload and time management skills
- Strong work ethic with a desire to exceed expectations both internally and externally
- Minimum Food Safety Level 2
