Full time position, 5 days a week. 2 days off together (1 being a weekend day.)
Shift supervision - Monitoring and clearing the floor, maintaining housekeeping standards, staff management including task delegation, breaks, timekeeping and monitoring phone use.
Maintaining coffee standards; identifying when further training and/or assistance is needed.
Clear communication between other supervisors and management staff. Communicating admin needs, helping manage smooth service from the kitchen.
Rotas: Open to discussion, but currently a monthly rota is made by admin. Most people have set days. Applicant will be the first point of contact for sickness cover/swapped shifts. Stock management: creating order lists twice a week (Mon and Thurs) for the main supplier, keeping an eye on other supply levels, and a weekly list of things needed to be brought over from storage, as well as other ad hoc stock management tasks. Ensuring time sheets are filled in accurately at the end of the shift, and double checked before being sent off to payroll at the end of the month.
Maintaining cleaning standards for FOH, and potentially helping us formalise a weekly cleaning structure, including tasks for deep cleans on Wednesdays.
Ensuring staff are clear about admin protocols, how to book holiday, communicating to management any changes in rota needs, and any payroll/other admin queries.
