As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail.
Duties Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
Skills Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in food preparation is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
