As our Head Barista and member of the leadership team, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering our coffee program to align seamlessly with our philosophy.
What We’re Looking For: *Previous experience as a Head Barista or Lead Barista in a specialty coffee setting. *Extensive knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavour profiles. *Proficiency in espresso extraction, latte art, and milk texturing techniques. *Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Detail-oriented with a relentless pursuit of exceptional guest service. *Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. *Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Taking responsibility for opening the business when scheduled.
The Role: *Develop and lead our team, ensuring it reflects our dedication to service excellence. *Craft exceptional coffee beverages with precision and care – Designing menus based around seasonality and key business drivers. *Manage inventory effectively to maintain freshness and availability. *Train and mentor staff to uphold high standards of coffee preparation, customer service, and cleanliness. *Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the coffee department. *Build a community hub for our guests, standing out amongst our competitors.
