WHO WE ARE Nude Espresso was founded in 2008 by Richard Reed & Gerard Fisher. We are a small independently owned specialty coffee roaster based in East London. We go to great lengths to source, roast and serve our coffee to the highest standard. The name derives from our desire to strip back the layers of confusion and secrecy that had surrounded the coffee industry up to this point. It also alludes to our love of all things which are raw and we aim to keep things simple, real and high quality. WHAT WE DO From our first cafe on Hanbury Street, East London we have grown to employ over 30 people across 3 cafes. One site on Bell Lane, near Spitalfields market, and 2 on Hanbury Street, just off Brick Lane. We serve fresh, seasonal brunch-style food in a relaxed and welcoming cafe environment, as well as operating a retail roastery and a cafe training school. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service & exceptional coffee alongside our home baked treats and brunch menu. At the core of our business is our Retail Roastery, dedicated to sourcing the finest green beans for roasting to serve in our cafes & to share with our wholesale & retail customers. We have an open door policy in our Roastery whereby customers & staff have access to baristas, barista trainers & roasters in a friendly environment where we can all share our knowledge & passion of coffee.
