Since 2001, the iconic Clinton St. Baking Co. & Restaurant has grown a devotional worldwide following for its American-eclectic eats on the Lower East Side. Decadent dishes like fluffy pancakes, eggs benedict, crispy buttermilk fried chicken and grass fed burgers are cult favorites, washed down with spicy Bloody Marys and craft beer. . Chef owned and operated, we are locally, nationally and internationally famous for our brunch, breakfast and pancakes. Our American menu has Southwestern accents. All of our products are the highest quality and very fresh- we use local and organic ingredients as much as possible. Almost everything in-house is homemade; from our jam & bread to our corn tortillas and hot sauce. Many of our staff, both front - and back-of-house, have been working at CSB for over a decade. We are truly a special work “family." We care deeply about the customer experience. We have locations in Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Dubai.
Our restaurant is sunny and bright by day and urban/cozy by night. In the morning it smells like blueberry muffins and fresh ground coffee; in the evening, buttermilk fried chicken and waffles. All day and night it sounds like latin-southern-blue note jazz.
Husband and wife owner/partners are DeDe Lahman and Chef Neil Kleinberg. Chef Kleinberg is a NYC veteran, having cooked in Manhattan kitchens for almost 40 years.
