Community Cafe's in Poplar, East London Poplar HARCA is working to develop an exciting and sustainable community café offer in our community centres in East London.  Poplar is undergoing huge physical regeneration and population transition; our cafés (and community centres more widely) are an integral part of community cohesion, places of opportunity and networking. The Cafe’s are venues for creative arts, community events, co-working endeavours etc. and we're looking for a team who can contribute to these activities by suggesting activities to programme and being great ambassadors and promoters of these "extras". As our business is a social enterprise, we need to generate profit as a means of maximising social benefit. We aim to support the development of the local community by providing quality as well as balanced food and beverage options, which provide us with the opportunity to educate and upskill the community around wellbeing.
