Hampton Coffee Company was established in 1994 as a small espresso bar and coffee micro-roastery in Water Mill, a small hamlet in Southampton in Long Island's The Hamptons. We are a community-focused family-run local business owned by the husband-and-wife team of Jason and Theresa Belkin. While The Hamptons are known to many as the summer playground of the rich and famous, it is more than just sun, sand, surf, and celebrities. It is also home to everyone else, from farmers to bankers to coffee people -like us! While we are proud to offer warm and welcoming cafes and a family-friendly atmosphere, we have become a serious coffee business and are Long Island's largest independent coffee roaster-retailer. That means that not only do we operate a small chain of espresso bars & cafés, but we roast our own coffee for ourselves and for our wholesale partners. We are proud of our wholesale partners! Top-rated New York Times and Zagat-rated restaurants like Nick & Toni's, Starr Boggs, and Stone Creek Inn serve our coffee and the King Kullen and IGA supermarket chains feature our small-batch hand-roasted coffee on their shelves. Our coffee and espresso are even served at hospitals, schools, an airport, a baseball stadium and at dozens and dozens of local gourmet markets and shops.
