we are a thriving busy indie garden centre and cafe in Penge SE 20 We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working and flexible people to join our cafe team. Minimum two days a week at start, including a weekend session. We offer a pleasant buzzy working environment, friendly supportive team , generally lovely customers and as much coffee and cake as you can eat! We pay London living wage for over 20's and add 30 mins pay to your day if , as is quite often, you don't get to take a lunch break . There is always a minimum of two staff working with 3,4,and 5 at weekends .however you will be expected to work alone at times in the cafe area on weekdays as the second person will be outside in the garden centre . We all help each other out though so it's usually manageable and pleasant! It can get very busy and we want someone honest and sharp with initiative. We are a small  team so reliability and punctuality are vital .Good customer communication skills and great coffee and food preparation skills and experience are essential. We need weekend commitment and working hours are 9 to 6pm (to open 930 to 530 ) on weekdays and 930 to 530 ( to open 10 to 5 ) Sunday and bank holidays .
